The Geological Remote Sensing Group (GRSG) North America Committee in collaboration with the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is holding a series of special sessions on geological applications of photogrammetry and remote sensing at the Imaging and Geospatial Technology Forum (IGTF) to be held at the Fort Worth Convention Centre, Fort Worth, Texas, April 11 through April 15, 2016. Oral and poster abstracts (250 words) are requested covering the following areas:

• Oil and gas, and mining industry applications of remote sensing
• Geohazard, geomorphological, and planetary science applications of remote sensing
• Geological, lithological, and mineral mapping
• New sensors, platforms, and data processing approaches for geological remote sensing
• Field-based remote sensing systems and geological applications
• Geological applications of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
