The European Commission, the European GNSS Agency (GSA), and its partners are delighted to invite you to the 2014 European Space Solutions conference which will take place in Prague from 11-13 June at the Prague Congress Centre.

Now in its third edition, this flagship event on the EU’s satellite navigation programmes (Galileo and EGNOS) and its earth observation programme (Copernicus) brings business and the public sector together with users and developers of space-based solutions.

Highlights in 2014 include:

  • 4 user-led, sector-specific seminars featuring the latest trends and technologies:

–    Space Solutions for Sustainable Transport
(featuring separate sessions for Aviation, Maritime Transport, Rail and Road)

–    Space Solutions for Sustainable Land Management
(featuring separate sessions for Agriculture, Ecosystems and Spatial Planning)

–    Space Solutions for Emergency Response and Disaster Management
(covering Copernicus Emergency Management Service, critical infrastructure and distress alert systems)

–    Space Solutions for Consumer Applications
(covering Location-Based Services (LBS) and Earth Observation-based applications)

  • A high level plenary session with private and public sector leaders, debating how space-powered solutions can be harnessed for business and society as a whole, plus numerous side events.
  • A 300 m2 interactive public exhibition, the ‘European Space Expo’, showcasing the European Space Programme and its major projects on satellite navigation (Galileo and EGNOS) and Earth monitoring (Copernicus).

As well as providing opportunities to learn about the latest developments in space-based solutions and their potential applications, the conference offers a unique forum to meet market leaders and network with key players in your industry.
